Employee Relations Manager

📍 Manchester (Hybrid) | 💰 £60,000 + excellent benefits

 

An exciting opportunity to join a respected Facilities Management business as Employee Relations Lead. This role will focus on managing a varied and complex ER casework.

 

 

What you’ll do

  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers on complex employee relations matters
  • Lead investigations, disciplinaries, grievances and performance casework
  • Coach and develop managers to build confidence in handling people matters
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risk and ensure compliance
  • Use data and insights to identify ER trends and recommend proactive solutions
  • Partner with colleagues across Talent, Reward and L&D to deliver integrated people strategies

 

What we’re looking for

  • Proven HR generalist experience with strong focus on employee relations
  • Confident managing a wide range of complex ER cases with sound judgement
  • Experience leading or contributing to HR projects and initiatives
  • Commercial mindset with a focus on balancing business needs and employee experience
  • Strong stakeholder management, coaching and influencing skills
  • In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent experience)
